Per Scholas Institute for Technology
The Per Scholas Institute for Technology is seeking candidates from the South Florida area interested in obtaining the skills needed to begin a career in the Information Technology field. The Per Scholas Institute for Technology is an environmentally responsible nonprofit organization committed to breaking the cycle of poverty by providing education, technology, and economic opportunities to individuals, families, and communities. As part of the program, students receive textbooks and supplies as well as many other added benefits at no cost. We are currently providing FULL SCHOLARSHIPS to those students who qualify.

The Computer Technician program includes hands-on training as well as career development training and job placement:
  1. You will be troubleshooting and repairing real equipment. This will give you a deeper learning experience.
  2. You will be prepared for the CompTIA A+ certification exam.
  3. You will receive career development training that will help you to put your career in the technology field in perspective.
  4. You will be connected with local employers and jobs in the industry.

Course scheduling is as follows:

Computer Technician Training
Session # 18 (1/13/09 – 6/02/09)
Schedule: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm

Session # 19 (1/07/09 – 4/08/09)
Schedule: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays 8:30 am – 12:30 pm

Prior to enrollment, students must present the following documents:
  1. High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  2. Driver/s License or Florida ID
  3. Social Security Card
  4. Birth Certificate and/or Alien Registration Card (Green Card)
