Max Everett Massac is originally from Port-au Prince, Haiti. He is a Professional Engineer licensed in the state of
Florida, with over 25 years experience. Max earned his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Florida
International University, and is currently studying for his Master’s degree in Ocean Engineering and Business
Administration at Florida Atlantic University.
He is a former Staff Sergeant/Site Developer with the 482nd Civil Engineering Squadron, United States Air Force Reserves, and he is currently an engineer at Dometic Environmental Corp., specializing in the design and manufacture of energy transfer and environmental control systems for the marine industry. Max is a founding member of the Haitian-American Association of Engineers and Scientists (HAES), and has membership in several other professional organizations. He has participated in various projects and research activities involving water and electricity development in Haiti. He is a strong advocate for energy alternatives for Haiti in order to diminish the cutting of trees for cooking, and in order to develop abundant and reliable electricity on a sustainable basis using renewable resources. |
